An alien language through amorphous beats
Morphtables and Raveny transport us back to Plastikman of the mid-1990s with ambient and acidic rhythms spanning three tracks within thirty-minutes. The soundscape is filled with subtly changing rhythms that bend and twist into one another before displaying an alien language through amorphous beats, sci-fi grooves, and targeted laser beams. The duo recorded impromptu tracks in Istanbul (August of 2023,) discovering disconnected structures and baffling ambient shapes dissolving into Amber-like Autechre hues that could go on forever.
