Ghostly audio transmissions
Jacek Doroszenko, a talented Polish audiovisual artist who graduated from Krakow’s Academy of Fine Arts, pushes the boundaries of sound and silence. Here, Identity Values transitions from darker, ethereal drone threads and soundscapes to finely crafted instrumental textures. As field recordings and watery tones delicately float to the surface, a multitude of micro-fragments and pulses form at the edges of each piece. Doroszenko draws from these undulating landscapes to form ghostly audio transmissions as nine miniatures maintain volumes of detail that are both mysterious and energizing, frequently simultaneously. Where atmospheric waves coalesce, drifting sonic ice-sheets scrape up against each other as Identity Values subtly gains momentum while aligning with Audiobulb‘s extensive Rolodex of abstract sound sculptors.
