Through the combination of coalescing emotions and natural musical extrusions, Dissolved leaves us with misleading echoes that are both reassuring and distracting, frequently simultaneously.

And so we come to When Can, the strangely enigmatic and oft-overlooked collaboration between Kettel and the equally elusive Secede. I’ll admit to being as surprised as I was delighted when Lapsus announced its reissue as a deluxe vinyl edition because it’s an album I adore, so much so this is now the third time I’ve written about it.

If you’re in the mood for good modern IDM, Feal has got plenty. More specifically, if you want to put on a record and be sure it offers something valuable from start to finish, Feal has also got plenty of that. If you want a good amount of variety, Feal is where you should be headed.

One of the many experimental three-track records from Bernhard Living, From Here to There is yet another exploration of tonality and thought.
Plastikman :: Musik (30th Anniversary Edition) (NovaMute)
Vinyl reissue of Richie Hawtin’s revered second album as Plastikman remastered from the original tapes. The 30th Anniversary edition of Musik, the groundbreaking second studio album by Richie Hawtin, has been announced for release on NovaMute on December 6, 2024. It is manufactured with environmentally-conscious packaging, pressed on bio-vinyl.
DFKT :: Armagideon Machines EP (Dystopian Dub Discotheque)
Armagideon Machines is a robust EP pushing forward with sandblasted rhythmic dark-ambient dub strands from the farthest reaches of our universe, and is a treat to consume in one take.
Nuron :: DAT Tapes Vol 02 (De:tuned)
Interestingly, DAT Tapes Vol 02 casts light on a style that Jusat is not known for. There are moments of his trademark techno, but it is a more floor centric house that is at the heart of the record. The depth of previous productions is less evident, the explorations on offer being more rhythmic than melodic.
