Safa flexes a percussive palette that is weighted in bass and granular soundscapes. For fans of Rian Treanor and Gabor Lazar will feel right at home, although Safa’s characteristics are a different take on elasticated figures and whilst may seem like a comfortable entry—this is only the beginning.

Departing from the Enovian principle of Ambient as functional room tint or affordance structure for relaxation, LUXE exhibits the genre’s stylistic richness, not to mention latitude, in its questing navigation through diverse sounds and states.
Carrying cinematic qualities it is easy to get swept into this atmosphere and find yourself in a swell of tension from the surrounding currents.
The album is at its best when you hear the signature Audiobulb sound of minimalist, at times almost microscopic, glitchy ambient IDM, but there’s also some reverb drenched ambient drone.
