And like a dream, or the waking dream of creative action and inspiration, the flow state of this album passes by with temporal swiftness. Caught up in the eddies and swirls we are soon down the stream of consciousness and into a calm clear pool.

Mitoma :: Fragments Vol. II (Section 27)
These multi-talented musicians easily fall into the scope of exp-electronics we embed ourselves within each and every day, while Mitoma’s distinctive remodeling gives these already potent recordings an additional level of reconstruction, or fragments.
V/A :: Imaginary North Transmission 009 (Imaginary North)
Transmission 009 achieves a striking unity of sound across all of its thirteen tracks. This could even all be the work of one artist, but it’s not. While there are differences, the commonalities between these musicians flow together in sequence to create a lush tapestry.
Enabl.ed :: ErrorBalm Vol.1 (Clean Error)
Enabl.ed, however, pushes forward and creates a new chapter for IDM explorations with each piece having its unique sound fragment; punctuating sweet electrical “errors” that are sincerely esoteric and essential.
Henrik Meierkord :: MÖRK (Audiobulb)
MÖRK—which means darkness in Swedish—is a vertiginous and spiritually enthralling dive in deep bass cello tones, minimally improvised guitar sequences, long sweeping electronic sounds, and hypnotic loops.
VAAG :: Twenty Two (Point Source Electronic Arts)
These perplexing sound sculptures are painstakingly designed with expressive layers to suggest a sense of uniform chaos; often broken, battered, and blistered to no end. But on the outskirts, we hear (and see) VAAG seamlessly twisting extraterrestrial glitch fabrics on Twenty Two like an experienced tailor.
Macrogramma :: Magnetic Series (Lᴏɴᴛᴀɴᴏ Series)
For Macrogramma, the medium evidently brings with it, more than nostalgia’s facile allure, in contrast to digital’s infinite possibility, an intransigence forcing definitive choices.
2View :: Sounding Boards — Skytree, Zachary Gray
There’s red line, thin, but distinct, between different kinds of sounding—between soundalike and sound like, resemblance and redolence, imitation and influence; thus, though sometimes end products may sound similar, in essence they differ crucially.
Alessandro Cortini :: Nati Infiniti (Mute)
These propulsive and magnetic electro-acoustic voyages leads us to a state of high transcendence, evolving in unknown directions and various paths of consciousness.
Ard Bit :: Field Recordings – 05 Bohemia (Self Released)
The complete pieces are reconstructed settings from a human perspective. In them, you can hear subtle changes, and arguably some development. The album is mainly atmospheric, communicating a wide and subtle range of gloomy impressions and moods.
V/A :: VINT (Lapsus)
Twenty years in the making, Lapsus celebrate with this really neat compilation of slick IDM. Not always do various artists compilations have much reason behind them, but they’re always more appreciated than “best hits” or “singles” compilations; VINT, in particular, happens to also have thought behind it, as it’s not just a series of random tracks put together.
