A collection of cameos rendered in feathery tones and dusty pitches by Todd Gautreau aka Tapes and Topographies, Plumage’s sonorities, languorously looping and limned in treated effluvia, point to timbral and spatial elements as its primary zone of sonic inquiry.
Forgotten Stories is mostly comprised of atmospheric sonic experiments floating into the void, and at times merging into meandering memory streams filled with field recordings and wonder.
Cecchitelli’s style reminds me a bit of Angelo Badalamenti, a chosen soundtrack composer for David Lynch, among others. It is much like his, but with some Leo Kottke added, with a similar style of guitar melodies.
