Braindance elements crisscrossing industrial blip’s and bleeps, AE-04 is a mind-blowing couplet providing just enough raw electronic energy to keep us fully focused. “Phyr” exhibits sliced melodic synths and gritty mechanical textures echoing for miles as “Time is a Beast,” on the other hand, rattles through syncopated drill’n bass and offers just enough darkness as it maneuvers through glitchy sparks and sparse sound-design motifs floating in the background. In all, AE-04 is an impacting flash of sonic lightning from a very talented sound sculptor.
