he limited edition 8″ lathe cut vinyl of 55 units is available on Adepta Editions, this time featuring two pieces by Hanut Munson who sheds Boards of Canada layers as the A-side (“Shape of Story”) is a blissful foray through a verdant downtempo wilderness where shuffling vocal bits maneuver through trip-hop entangled melodic synths. It’s as beautiful as sound can get, perfectly executed with ruffled edges. On the flip side, “Guitar Camphead” is a tranquilized retreat from the busyness of our lives—gently plucked guitar strings and a warm ambient campfire (headphase?) setting keeps everything cosy as we listen to this piece over and over again.
