Listening further and more closely, I perceived that Fragmented sounds more contemporary—the music has an industrial edge. The album has a tasteful minimalist quality as does much of Cluster, but it sounds more relentless and more driven in pace.

Plector sees Parallel Worlds on his third solo mission with DiN, and once again encapsulates darker atmospheres, especially as the opening title-track showcases so well.

Minuscule tones and drones float effortlessly as each piece (over 10 minutes) emits an aura that transcends time; easing the listener carefully into its calming nature.
