Sonic clusters, sporadic clicks, and low-profile drones

Bakis Sirros (aka Parallel Worlds) honed his craft over many years—utilizing vintage analog modular synths and sequencing to create vast soundscapes that precisely describes the moniker he uses to present these isolated ambient formations. On Dimensional for Móatún 7, the limited run vinyl (and digital) imprint unleashes nine tracks for its listeners crossing wires between Biosphere, Seefeel and Autechre (in their stripped down, atmospheric realm). The result is an other worldly assortment of sparse sonic clusters, sporadic clicks, and low-profile drones meshed with emotive/hypnotic soundtrack nostalgia pulling at the heartstrings. Predominantly an overflowing dark ambient traverse, Sirros occasionally delivers subdued piano vistas that drift and fall apart blissfully, however, it’s when he gravitates towards raw, organic, and modular shape shifting rhythms that immediately draws our attention. A powerful multi-dimensional, low-pressure, and dreamy sonic experiment.
