Inquiri :: See You Someday (Past Inside The Present)
You can hear a lot of pure ambience on See You Someday, however, most of the time it is infused with ambient pop aesthetics, some big string arrangements, and straight up psychedelia.
V/A :: Quantized Realities – Technology (Errorgrid)
The mighty label Errorgrid is host to an incredible stable of artists working in a wide variety of genres, modes and formats but all reminiscent of “a darker sound of a present future” as the label motto goes. Their Quantized Realities – Technology compilation is a perfect record of the label’s roster and sound.
Adrien d’Elzius :: Straight from the Void (Pt.3) EP (Self Released)
Another excellent extended player filled with transportive electronics, hopefully continuing in the sequence.
Katabatik :: Konclave 2024
A weekend of live electronics, DJs, camping, and revelry in the Katabatik tradition.
tysk raider :: tysk003 (mindcolormusic)
A blissful sonic amalgam that reveals the subtleties of experimental electronica, tumbling beats, and far-off recollections of the budding late 90s IDM-era.
Neosintetico :: Altered Electrical Transmission EP (Self Released)
Altered Electrical Transmission is an organic yet esoteric collection that unravels with an industrial and glitch/breaks pulse.
Seph :: Séptimo Sentido (Lapsus)
This LP is as good as current “greatly inspired by classics” IDM gets, because Seph rebrands the dusty futuristic aesthetics of acts like The Black Dog or B12 to turn them into incredibly polished and smooth soundscapes, creating tunes that now sound like they come from 3024 just like the classics did when they came out thirty years ago.
