Meduna is the solo project of Ramiro Galas, a Brasilia-based electronic music producer, and Desmantelo is his third EP that blasts through a myriad of brisk electro formations polished to a bright sheen. Opening with the rhythmic shuffle of “Nafiltida” and its slippery synth groove, Meduna crafts soul-centered electronica that is both tangible and surreal. “Henxakake” continues with programed robotic layers of melodic blips’n bleeps smothered in glitch speckles. Quizzik chimes in to close the three-tracker with a remix of “Nafiltida,” and the result is a stripped-down version that mutates into brushed electro-industrial flourishes—crisp, crunchy, and crackling; it’s the triplet highlight and keeps our ears firmly tuned into what’s next in the 6 Plusten pipeline.
