Brazilian Red Bull Music Academy graduate Quizzik returns to 6 Plusten Records with their second release Simulacrum EP. Scratching multiple itches in this short-but-sweet 3-tracker, Quizzik flexes dexterity in angles encompassing raw compatibility and overall saturated tones that takes a step away from usual pristine sonics that are often associated within the genres electro and IDM. Favorite track on this has to be the opener, “S_cr_t Und_rgr__nd Sh_t” which combines the above with an acid and slight braindance edge, making for an enticing listen.
