An epic soundtrack which explores the dark era of faith and which shows a fascination for the fantastic, the strange and the existential decay.
Two years after the mighty, shadowy and deep atmospheric Gospel of the Burning Idols, the post-industrial electronic duet Aderlating is back with a 5th full length release signed one more time on Black Plague Productions (Malignant sublabel since 2002). Hell Follows is published as a limited edition of 500 copies and appears to be recorded in live conditions.
This new album is an astonishing cold electronic inferno surrounded by topics related to traditional satanic-thelema worships and post-apologetic visions. Harsh bleak noises, infectious power electronic lines meet processed samples and blakened ambient dronescapes. The opening theme rises on the surface with a menacing electronic orchestration punctuated by recitatives. A piece such as “Curse” embraces a viscerally claustrophobic industrial path with klanging percussive parts, buzzed out drone lines and hallucinogenic voice rituals. The self titled track is a heavy and grimy dark ambient piece for cavernous drones, garage drums and dark voices. “The Silver Domain” shows another facet, more enveloping, kinetic electro orientated with a mysterious sacral aura—a beautifully grainy textured piece. Hell Follows is an epic soundtrack which explores the dark era of faith and which shows a fascination for the fantastic, the strange and the existential decay. A new brilliant release from this project and of clear interest for fans of Coph Nia, Archon Satani, Predominance et al.
