At thirty-nine minutes, abstract dark drones and punctuated slices of musique concrète flicker across densely layered clicks and disheveled echoes.
Hiverlucide & Pyramid Waves :: RiotxNoise (Solium)
Almost fifty minutes of improvised spazzing noise and dizzying breaks, all mastered rather loudly, make RiotxNoise far more than exciting; if the premise wasn’t enthralling enough, there’s also vocals and a damn harpsichord on this LP; now that’s good business if you ask me.
Jvox :: Beat Universe (Component)
Beat Universe feels like Man Is A Machine’s long-lost eccentric cousin dropping in to say, “hey, I’m still here,” and re-establishes a vision of electrified hip-hop as only Jvox navigates so well after all these years.
Lia Bosch :: Polar Code (Glacial Movements)
Polar Code is a deeply grounded icy synthesized orchestration covered by futuristic, sci-fi cyber-like electronic tones as well as treated acoustic timbres and deep audio moves.
Hollie Kenniff :: For Forever (Nettwerk / Imaginary North)
Ambient is like a river. You step into the flow and let the new waters ripple on past. Breathtaking ripples abound on this record from […]
OktoRed :: Michigan & Rosa EP (Satellite Trax)
It’s tough, it’s kinda loud, and it’s definitely an entertaining EP, so if you’re on the lookout for some aggressive dubstep, this may do it for ya!

Zachary Gray is back with Trippin’ / In Arrears, in A Person Disguised as People’s A/B Series, a 2-track appetizer for the Trippin’ LP, forthcoming in Spring 2025.
Stone Leaf :: SEISMOS (Detroit Underground)
Embedded with captivating atmospheres, Stone Leaf cogently creates subdued experimental electronic flutter that we’ll continue to revisit again and again.
Orbital Patterns :: Extended Impostor Syndrome (Artificial Owl Recordings)
The meditative quality of Extended Imposter Syndrome effectively adds a human touch to a collection of static-filled background noises and ultimately is a terrific way to lift your spirits.
