Interlinked through shared signal and intent, Reticle emerged in early 2024 as a transatlantic alliance between Málaga’s inoperative system (Diego Ruiz) and Portland producer b0t23 (Beau Crouch), setting the foundation for a forward-leaning electro vision now pushed further through radical reworks of “Iluvia” and “Simplo” courtesy of ADJ, Justin Maxwell, Ignatius, and Rec_Overflow.
Signal binds form to force
Everything interlinked, shaped through mutual signal and intent, Reticle first surfaced in early 2024 as a transatlantic union between Málaga-based inoperative system (Diego Ruiz) and Portland producer b0t23 (Beau Crouch). This four-track suite brings together forward-thinking electro minds, reshaping “Iluvia” and “Simplo” into bold projections of sound yet to come.
ADJ reconfigures “Iluvia” via synth-driven blips and bleep precision, transforming its slow-burn force into warped rhythmic motion. “Simplo” mutates further through Justin Maxwell, aka one-half of Volsoc, who strips away breaks and destabilized rhythm, replacing them with a crushing industrial rave surge. Ignatius follows with Plosim remix of “Simplo,” bending form through mechanical distortion, splintered percussion, and a smoldering maze of disrupted pulse. Rec_Overlflow seals the cycle, steering closure toward shadowed ambience, kinetic propulsion, and elastic sonic architecture.
Refined yet alien in spirit, this remix collection folds disorder into sharp alignment. Patterned Media advances its collaborative ethos here, signaling a clear, future-driven path for next-phase electro.
