Los Angeles-based ambient explorer stanleycypress finds comfort in smaller spaces with Ephemeral, a two-track slice of life where atmospheric modulations weave through melodic drone tones and cascading Detroit-inflected textures.

survey channel :: Macrozones EP (Self Released)
Macrozones ultimately feels like a succinct collection of lost time capsules, each one preserving a slightly different shade of distant sound, blurred memory, and quiet unease. A sonic pallet worth every minute of our time.
[2View] Xurba :: DFTSKZ-V333 & The Dexadream EP’s (Electric Studios)
The Dexadream seems to soar hundreds of miles above our atmosphere, while DFTSKZ-V333 drifts in and out of downtempo electronic bubbles of sound and space, funk, and textural, beat-laden wonders. Across both releases, Xurba folds left-field elements into a language entirely his own, shaping sound into something hazy, distant, and quietly otherworldly.
opera23 :: Teatro Armónico (Wic)
Across eight tracks, Germano channels a stunning miasma of electronic and acoustic instrumentation, art-house aesthetics, and installation-worthy musical spaces.
rinse.repeat :: Brain Axiom Vol.2 (Clean Error)
Such sleek, rhythmic glitch sees rinse.repeat at it again with this oversized extended player, running just over twenty-four minutes and moving through modernized, mechanized electronic flutter.
Potato.exe :: ERR_SESSION VOL.1 (Clean Error)
Potato.exe executes precision-built, acrobatic sound structures that, despite their mechanical framework, still exude warmth through rhythmic foundations of remarkable control.
pray4Manta :: LIMEN EP (Self Released) — [concise]
Occupying a threshold between rugged electro forms and industrial glitch polish, LIMEN exists seemingly light-years beyond conventional notions of time and space.
DJ Godfather :: Sporadic EP (Databass)
Across Sporadic, Jeffries continues to refine a Detroit-rooted language of machine funk—precise, physical, and built for sound systems.
BMA & Robbyt :: Arbitrary Arbitrage / Lockbox EP (Onset Audio) — [concise]
Latest Onset Audio release, BMA & Robbyt deliver Arbitrary Arbitrage / Lockbox, a taut two-tracker driven by dark breaks, dense pressure, and full-spectrum low-end hostility.
F~M :: Fose (Old Technology) — [concise]
Two of my favorite sonic sculptors converge as F~M, alias of Roel Funcken and Jeroen Bax (aka exm), shaping Fose into four extended chapters that warp and reassemble rhythmic glitch fragments, threaded with fluid collisions of bass pressure, flickering bleeps, and meticulous sound design.
7053M4R14 :: SUN SERIES | AE\SS_02 EP (Adepta Editions) — [concise]
Together, these tracks form a succinct pairing, orbiting just beyond cerebral breakbeat fragments and electronic flickers—an intense sonic link that stretches rhythm toward its outer limits.
