Silent Revolution is a perplexing aural buffet of abstract electro-nics and side splitting bass skills, consisting of four tracks and two remixes.

Tightly packed electro industrial for the next decade

Silent Revolution is a perplexing aural buffet of abstract electro-nics and side splitting bass skills, consisting of four tracks and two remixes. “Bukowski’s Raw Take on Himself,” a sandblasted track of absolute perfection to open the EP, is the colossal industrial acid and electro breaks of the renowned Belgian sound smith (also known as Adrien Cornet). While “Leonardo’s coveted secret” and “Rilke’s depth to write on the unwritable” tread over darker terrain with their industrial-glitch mechanics and echoing fury, time doesn’t stand still as the persistent groove of “Sesephos’s view over the hill” opens up into a wide-angled slow motion soundtrack and aural vista encapsulating the artists’ depth in sound design.

Adrien d’Elzius effortlessly traverses otherworldly environments in parallel with artists like Richard Devine, Kero, Phoenecia, and Bitstream. While Ruben Void’s interpretation of “Sesephos’s view over the hill” features an even darker blend of avant-garde electronics and looping percussion to simply hypnotize the listener, ADJ’s roughened version of “Bukowski’s raw take on himself” takes on a life of its own with engulfing bass and heavily saturated breaks. The definitive EP of tightly packed electro industrial for the next decade and a highlight in our Best of 2023 list.
