Rusted in the Salt Air is a deeply atmospheric sonic journey that blends natural field recordings from the windswept Suffolk coast with lush, slow-burning electronic textures created using vintage synthesizers and spring reverb. Inspired by the haunting landscapes of Orford Ness and the literary reflections in Sebald’s Rings of Saturn, the album evokes themes of decay, memory, and transformation through immersive soundscapes rich with birdsong, wave wash, and ghostly drones.

zakè :: Selected Remixes (Zakè Drone)
Selected Remixes reflects Zach Frizzell’s collaborative ethos and transformative ear, reworking tracks from across the ambient and experimental spectrum. With his signature analog warmth, chthonic textures, and spectral drift, zakè reshapes source material into a cohesive suite of deep-listening reinterpretations that reveal his intuitive sonic alchemy.

Lantscap :: Fragile Peaks (Home Normal)
Fragile Peaks is a deeply engaging (in the sense of the quality of engagement being ‘deep’) slow burner, though that descriptor might misrepresent the intensity of a piece that, fire-wise, is more of a smoulder—a low-lit one at that.
Frore & Shane Morris :: Ochre (Spotted Peccary Music)
Frore and Shane Morris have created Ochre, a freshly discovered memory of the first human forms of art.
Dr.Nojoke :: Muaco EP (CLIKNO)

Sceptre Fretpen :: Earthquake Park (Self-Released)
Dense layers of sliced-up synth and organic tones, a heavily effected dulcimer melody that slips through the mix, and a glitchy beat that only coheres […]
Peninsolar :: Purlieu EP (Clean Error)
A fine assemblage of spellbinding organic electronic music that draws on the past with an audible viscosity and daringly looks straight into the future of […]
