VSESLAV (aka Stanislav Sevostyanikhin) masterfully weaves shimmering layers of ambient textures and flowing synthesizer currents on Dryoma to craft immersive sonic relics that transcend conventional notions of time and dimension. The ethereal transmissions begin with “как случится, так пусть и будет,” where hazy drones and the flicker of a distant (vocal) signal usher us into a world both weathered and wondrous, setting the stage for Dryoma to quietly emerge. As the album unfolds, compositions such as “лунные луны,” “в прослойках,” and the sublime “59-ый уровень плотности” glide across barren, crystalline terrains. Here, delicate motifs unfold like frozen breath, stretching delicately into vast, unknowable distances.
These soundscapes move with an almost meditative grace, their slow undulations gently inviting the listener deeper into the expanse. Later, tracks like “морось” and “хоровод светил” drift into translucent realms reminiscent of Rod Modell’s Deepchord or Dan Abrams‘s Shuffle358, where open expanses pulse with subdued harmonics and ghostly reverberations. Within this spatial embrace, Dryoma breathes with nostalgic warmth, looping gently across the upper atmosphere, carrying echoes of memory suspended in the ether.
