Expanding upon the label’s sound, Primal Tribes and Redlum present sandblasted drum’n bass explorations. Fittingly labeled, “Irritatingly Crooked” flickers bass dust and sputters its drums across wide-open spaces. Midway through, “Void Figures” slows down the pace with its swirling industrial trip-hop intensity while keeping a drum-heavy groove. A blistering sci-fi soundtrack couplet.
