At times stripped to its skeletal frame—as witnessed on the opening “2112”—port-royal’esque rhythms flourish and a mesh of curious synth-boxes dance in unison. Second in the lineup is “Renacer,” a tranquilized instrumental that forages for loose analog granules amidst microscopic beats and bleeps. “Esc.Peranza,” perhaps the strongest of the lot, segues through dark spheres, dribbling beats and sliced layers of soundtrack-driven atmospheres. Repeated listening yields mind-altering panoramic views as its ascent through time and space is contagious. “Futuro” extrapolates a downtempo stream of data crunching and FSOL’ized psychedelic electrons.
