An utterly mesmerizing selection that plucks the heartstrings and simply doesn’t let up.
Four cuts of melodic and shuffling braindance soundscapes
Analogical Force have been at it for several years, introducing new and established musicians covering a wide range of fresh experiments in electronic music and revealing a large catalog of vinyl releases and unique artwork to capture the senses. Fluctuosa (aka Doğukan Acar) offers four cuts of melodic and shuffling braindance soundscapes on Wetware, opening with the relentless slurry of beats on “Vespid” as acidic swells and melodic glitch’n breaks implode on “Fisheel.” It’s a powerful sonic assortment that gains momentum with “Cobwebby” fracturing frenetic drums and sampled field recordings (or, world sounds could it be?) that somehow mesh together as closing “Stargaze” gradual descends into downtempo breakbeat and meandering electronics with a melodic twist and fuzzy acid blend. An utterly mesmerizing selection that plucks the heartstrings and simply doesn’t let up.
