Gently flowing sound excursion along sinuous waves and sonic experimentations mainly provided by massively processed field recordings.
New monthly releases from one now key actor in the promotion of craft-based ambient and post-classical soundscapes. Once more the interest is put on newcomers and promising projects in those delicately meditative home listening genres. All tracks have been designed and recorded by sound artist Ernesto André Pereda Vidal (aka Biuddha). This is one pleasant, gently flowing sound excursion along sinuous waves and sonic experimentations mainly provided by massively processed field recordings. Looped sequences are brought to the fore to structure a very soothing, and perceptually hypnotic sound artifact. Suspenseful, enveloping textures also guide the listener in a vast space of infinite quietness. Nothing new here but a recommended effort if you are into relaxing downtempo ambient reveries and liquid dreams, notably the work of Harold Budd, Taylor Deupree, Loscil, Oophoi but also in the most ethereally-soothing works of Rapoon on tape loops (Time Frost).
