Displacer revisits this iconic record and brings some friends along to partake, creating a flowing and textural audio assault that represents the entire dark electronic music landscape, likely for another decade.
M.Cadoo & P.Stephan :: Pang of Being (Self Released)
But it’s not all splatter. Soaring synths pierce the darkness with moments of light reminding me to look for that light, follow it down the tracks even as metallic crashes continue to cascade into crumbling piles of rust.

The energy of his breakbeat manipulations is tamed by soft billowing clouds of enveloping sound, giving us an ideal listening for anyone who misses the glory days of ‘intelligent’ drum and bass, and eventually wants to feel it in our bedroom still.
