The 2LP draws on the past while delivering a considered statement on the present. This is deep and engrossing music, tracks that have been given time to grow and mature under the ear of a pioneer of machine music.

V/A :: Remember the Future Part Three (To Pikap)
For the third time, Remember the Future delivers. This sextet of tracks is diverse and immersive. From the dancefloor to more cerebral expressions, the collection offers a wide range and quality. With the clouds that are gathering around the present, this retrospective future gazing is a welcome audio tonic.
WE FORFEIT :: Radio Relativa #49 (Mora, Live from RR HQ)
This clammy one is packed full of styles, acid, electro, italo, house, new beat and techno, a b2b of two hours recorded live from the new studio of Radio Relativa. Tracks from 22 Recordings, Ace Vision, DJ Overdose, Neud Photo, and loads more.
Death in Vegas :: Death Mask (Drone)
The nine tracks of Death Mask fall into techno. However, such labelling does this record a disservice. Richard Fearless is pushing the limitations of the genre and forging new paths within the sound. His ability, and years of experience, come to the fore as new audio explorations are charted.
Djrum :: Under Tangled Silence (Houndstooth)
Under Tangled Silence is a lost album that has been found, a reconstructed work made whole from fragments. Born in pain, the collection is a triumph of Djrum’s musicality and his tireless effort to revive and reimagine what was gone. An immensely absorbing and original work, an accomplishment of desire and dexterity.
Nublo Roboten :: Un Silencio Pesado (Kernkrach)
As ever, Kernkrach have unearthed an artist of enviable talent. El Pesado Silencio is an album that illustrates Nublo Roboten’s range and style, contemporary synth-pop that is produced with a sureness of expression and a deftness of touch.
Undancel Records :: Machined in Málaga
Electronic music still loves the industrial estate. At least in Spain it does.
The final lines of sewer sender
sewer sender continues, despite its end, to be an expression; an expression of friendship, of emotion and of music. The final chapter of this “novella” may have come to a close, but the sounds that were crafted by the contributors will continue into the infinite.
WE FORFEIT :: Interview & Mix (Node, Gated Recordings)
As the Spring draws in, the music keeps flowing here at WE FORFEIT. For this month, we have a label we love. We have Gated Recordings. Founded in 2019 by DJ Node and Jadey Smith, Gated has become an imprint of serious intent in the world of electronic music.
Luxus Varta :: Magnetic EP (Specimen)
Magnetic showcases Luxus Varta and his ever-developing sound. Constructing the sextet, elements of breaks and electronica are folded into his overarchingly electro sound. Dark tones and clever compositions from an artist garnering deserved attention from both labels and listeners alike.
Monolake :: Gravity (Reissue) (Field) — First vinyl pressing
Monolake explores the earth and the heavens as well as man’s place in them, their soundtrack being sculpted with daring simplicity to achieve complexity and intricacy of expression and form.
