All in all, a very good introduction to Eighth Tower’s substantial catalog for lovers of deep electronic sound art. Quite recommended while reading Margaret Murray’s acclaimed history of European witchcraft.

Overflowing delivers an oceanic body of shifting harmonies, melodious vibes, and cool, soft-rock resonances. Sparse textural ambient motifs punctuate the ensemble, as in the granular and free-flowing “Sunbird.” Emotionally, the music is entirely connected with hope and gentle bitterness.
Jesper Møller Nielsen :: 20 Cigarettes (Lotophagus)
This music tells of the passage of time, with sparse humorous and facetious tones punctuating the moodier ensemble. Each track is elaborated and designed as a subtle, sentient vignette in the mind of a daydreaming smoker and ordinary thinker who opens his soul and invites the listener to witness his hope, fear, despair, and intricate yet playful reflections.
Nimh/Sleepwalker :: Empire of Sand (Ksenza)
Empire of Sand provides impeccably built darkened droning soundscapes with an emotional and nihilistic apex. The whole sonic architecture is centered on assaultive, multi-layered harsh electric guitar patterns; micro-noisy, grainy ambient electronics; and a grandiose, spellbinding dystopian cinematic component.
Christophe Bailleau O’Farrell :: Romantic, Visceral (Mahorka)
Romantic, Visceral is highly recommended for those who enjoy challenging music with semi-classical overtones and chilling stylistic pathways dominated by energetic electronic textures. Without neglecting its own originality and trippy, chameleon-like strength, this album stands as the missing link between Brendan Moeller, Burial, and Michel Portal.
Julien Ash & M.Nomized :: Rotostyles (Lotophagus)
Rotostyles is a vertiginous and exhilarating demonstration of sonic craftsmanship, draped in colossal, almost Dantean orchestration. Highly recommended—uneasy and captivating in equal measure.
Ludvig Cimbrelius :: Moonshadows (Sound in Silence)
Moonshadows is dedicated to the most impressionistic, oceanic-tinged, and neoclassical dimension of his music. The pieces are built around the piano’s delicate, gently moving, semi-improvised detached melodies. Repetition, stillness, and peacefulness form a body of feelings.

(Mood Starters) is a dark, hypnotic, and eerie techno-ish industrial album surrounded by dystopian themes of a humanity trapped in an uncertain future, standing before unspeakable malefic forces.

Concealed Under A Strange Tongue suggests an elegant, diversified, and pleasant listening experience where meandering emotional chords meet spacious ambient electronica, processed field recordings, occasional sampled voice elements with a near new-age tone, and a neo-psychedelic/cosmic Americana feeling (for the sunlit psych-country-esque guitar sequences), along with near Steve Tibbetts-influenced mystic grooves.
