Coming off of his Mind The Gap EP on Waxing Crescent and earlier this year with the seminal Human Condition on Cue Dot, Fragile X (aka J. Gorecki) strikes yet again with his newest full length, The Man With The Plastic Brain. Drilling percussion, scattered melodies and U-turns at a breakneck pace, John shows us he’s very much in peak form. Igloo Magazine have been given a track premiere a week ahead of next weeks release — “Loaded Dice.” This track definitely exemplifies the direction of this release. “Loaded Dice” was the first track I finished for the album and probably best sums up the release as a whole. The intention was to make something wildly disorganized sounding but with a sense of fun. A happy bedlam. Roll the dice and see where it lands but it’s likely to end up on the same side more often than not. ~ Fragile X
