Sandblasted electro techno
Late July 2021 saw the release of Radio Astronomy from Serbia-based Alavux. Four original pieces and two remixes round off this action-packed extended player. “Sun Burns” is an explosive bleeps and Morse code behemoth kick-starting the proceedings as “Cosmic Rays” busts through fractured hardened techno. “MicroWaves” punctures industrial electro sound swirls while analog rhythms bend and contort. As the title track carves an acidic path of roughened breakbeat claustrophobia, Pablo Splice remixes it with syncopated electronic space’n blips while the mind-bent remix by LectrO cOd_E shatters with old-school breaks, bass and robotic execution. A heavily sandblasted electro techno release that fully encapsulates itself in a thick fog.
