Exploring the infinitesimal trajectory of electronic music
Tiny melodic and dub/minimal techno spheres (“Flugzeug Melancholie”) merge on Tsodor’s all-consuming and baffling amalgamation titled Diffused Nocturne with Woodland Creatures. The environment is permeated with delicately strewn electronics and a variety of downtempo infusions, starting with the brittle and snappy “AIN.” You’ll have a difficult time finding a dud anywhere since these concise and extended pieces are so densely packed with pulsing sound design, fractured hip-hop (“Cardboards”), and rough, twisted layers (“Tortilla”). Such an abundance of sharp experimental soundscapes arch across a distant panoramic, one track at a time.
Diffused Nocturne ultimately reveals a powerful array of soundtracks exploring the infinitesimal trajectory of electronic music, dipping from low-flying bass thuds to darker technoid shapes. “Perfect” and “Whatever” encompass all of the above, with expansive sonic detail and crisp production that seamlessly reveals Tsodor’s chameleon-like skill set.
