Electr-ohm label head, Cave Studio orchestrator, and resident Japan-based farmer, Sunao Inami has an abundance of broken sounds to offer with the unveiling of six—yes six—albums worth of unreleased material from 2018. 41-tracks, 165-minutes, and a varied mixture of cutting-edge experimental electronics in the form of IDM, industrial, abstract, rhythmic noise, and leftfield ambience, Inami’s sound is very much intact and explosive.

And while it’s difficult to elaborate on the vast audio sculptures presented on each album, it’s not surprising that Inami built his own Internet servers and started creating improvised electronic music back in the 90’s—his adeptness and distinct signature sounds are nothing short of mind-bending.
Having such a varied background, his first album released on SubRosa in 1998 was only the start of what was to be explored in the years ahead.
