Simon Pyke (aka Freeform) delivers three luminous tracks that flow between precise techno, ambient drift, and shimmering electronica. Each piece balances intricate detail with calming IDM textures, showcasing his enduring mastery.

Three softly radiating pulses of light arrive from multi-talented sound architect Simon Pyke (aka FreeformFreefarm Music & Sound Design), who shapes a sleek triad glowing with flicker and restraint. Opener “Tone State” moves with technoid precision, its gentle rhythmic patterns forming, dissolving, and quietly recombining. “Aurelume (Posh)” follows as a post-classical ambient drift slipping into subconscious space, an instrumental vision bending like time’s unfocused edge. Closing piece “Sugar Slam” sends out an electronica glow, airy pads and a fluttering metallic pulse creating a small trove of shimmering detail that never falters. Pyke continues to summon calming, classic old-school IDM contours with ease—no surprise he’s kept momentum for so many years, especially with Aurelume about to emerge.
