An explosive grandeur of distant plights
United Kingdom IDM and ambient music producer mōshonsensu (aka Daryl Robinson), takes us into the passageways of constellating fields known to the clans that crickets yield on Rednetic’s upcoming A Strange Dystopian Tundra.
In tracks like the illuminating opening “Mystical Minds,” elegant rhapsodies are interweaved heuristically while deeply traversing an echoing low crosshair in the following “Retrograde.” Subtle glitched percussive patterns slap back and forth, travailing the artist’s polyphonic threshold with a sheer mass in “Earth’s Release” as the remainders nomadically sweep tactfully into a ref.) The Orb cleped “Sea of Sound,” fluttering through voices of dispositioned tribes.
With earlier releases jettisoned from established labels such as Neo Ouija, Neotantra, and Abstrakt Reflections, under the latest Japanese guise of mōshonsensu, Robinson shapes an explosive grandeur of distant plights plucking deeply not only from his soulful memories of intense thought processes but the horizons of our own.
