Qodkluster, to put it simply, is very well-produced next-level electro-glitch. Abstract and effective electronic music with just the right amount of horsepower and conviction to keep the genre alive and well.
Not unlike what you would consume on the Raster imprint, Monoiz fractures percussion and technoid rhythms to no end. “Cyclock5” does just that, its explosive bass, rattling acidic tone, and fierce futuristic assemblage is a solid opener to this extended 4-track player. “Modulo_1” does similar damage to bassbins—with rumbling low-end squabble, it continues to punch through abstract electronic deformation with a subdued pulse. “Quasi Lugubre” is a unique distraction. Atmospheric dark-ambient synth notes are still just as fierce and roaming, minus the percussion, making for an incredibly impacting soundtrack to a parallel universe. “After Critical” exhibits similar traits with corrosive beat-work, expanding and contracting microscopic echoes. Qodkluster, to put it simply, is very well-produced next-level electro-glitch. Abstract and effective electronic music with just the right amount of horsepower and conviction to keep the genre alive and well.
