Fahrenheit EP provides elaborate sonic sound tapestries, spaciously dense and mesmeric. Definitely recommended for those who love the reflective, post-structural ambient dreamscapes.
[Release page] LPF12 (Low pass filter 12db) is the solo project of the sound designer and electronic musician Sascha Lemon. He is notably known for his extended-reticular-rhythmically driving ambient excursions. Most of his early 80’s have been republished as self-released or reissued by various independent labels specialized in digital releases for IDM / minimalist ambient scores. Fahrenheit EP represents the most subtly meditative tendencies of LPF12. The two tracks are largely devoted to deeply sonorous droning chords, gorgeously vibrating and hypnotically moving. “The Edge of Horizons” starts with densely massive drone sequences then integrates melodic-micro noisy materials. The continuous sound forms gravitate toward amazingly soothing tones. “Blurred Landscape” is an other immersion into buzzing low frequencies, static drones. Fahrenheit EP provides elaborate sonic sound tapestries, spaciously dense and mesmeric. Definitely recommended for those who love the reflective, post-structural ambient dreamscapes of Robert Henke (Layering Buddha), Biosphere (Autour de la lune) and Lustmord (Carbon / Core).
