José Soberanes is a young sound designer and organic ambient artist coming Mexico. He is also the manager of Nova Fund netlabel. He already released a few digital / small CDr editions for various labels around, in solo or in collaboration. His new effort is welcomed by Whitelabrecs (run by Harry Towell and dedicated to challenging ambient materials in limited editions).
The Rising Tide is made in collaboration with the British project WLR. The album is a pleasant and diversified collection of free form and slowly moving soothing drone ambiences enriched by green field recordings and minimal melodic sounding acoustic sequences. The whole thing is delicate, peaceful and meticulously arranged. Consequently The Rising Tide embraces the path of discreet music with a fancy for relaxing soundscapes and environmental sounds. Pieces offered here are made around a relative similar compositional schema, keeping things flowing naturally.
