ResoN8tion feels like a cascading waterfall. illocanblo (aka Ilya Bitekhtin) creates surreal landscapes with layers of flowing synth streams falling from significant heights, as felt in the opening track “Flux Of Mydrak.” “Zentari Trillia” floods the senses with exquisite rhythmic industrial-electro layers and explosive bass beats, while “Seraphisyc” showcases downtempo acid and glitch breaks crashing at the riverbed’s bottom before flowing once again. Closing with the saccharine braindance funk of “Voidspire Kryzel,” illocanblo delivers highly processed soundscapes and melodic textures that—you guessed it—ebb and flow.
