DoorHead’s half-dozen 0pen22 EP with Not Yet Remembered drifts over ethereal drones and finely delineated IDM morsels. We can’t stop scratching our heads over the beat infestation and glitch shades of “BtW1ab” and the closing fluttering beauty of “vw. Early Morning” where “vw.56yu,” “sj9zE,” and “uHv6” span over light and darker ambient textures floating across the atmosphere. These three airy compositions—that have the potential to loop indefinitely—offset the blend of subdued and vintage electronica from the late 90s and early aughts.
