BLUSH RESPONSE :: Dimensional Research (Kontaktor)

The end product is a potent jumble of industrial goliaths and saturated glitch entangled in a web of modular mayhem.

Facing off against a more sinister electronic force

With Dimensional Research on the newly minted Kontaktor label by Erica Synths, Joey Blush (also known as BLUSH RESPONSE and Megastructure label head) faces off against a more sinister electronic force. The end product is a potent jumble of industrial goliaths and saturated glitch entangled in a web of modular mayhem. On tracks like “Supermembrane” and “Predatory Algorithms,” a hyperactive flood of dense noises mix with harsher technoid shapes while tracks like “Northmoor,” “Fourth Dimensional Fragment,” and “Hedron” delve deeper into abstract details, transforming into fractured landscapes replete with intricately layered electronics and poignant pulsars. Even though the surroundings seem brooding, there’s a sense of hopefulness that something bright lurks just around the corner. A powerful and concise assemblage of abstract post-industrial music.
