Maeodi is an undertaking to reinterpret the modern Los Angeles sound with a bass heavy, ethereal composition: thick textures, heightened sensibility, melodic and full frequency.
Maeodi, a collaboration between Scott Smullen and Chris Bolszo, premieres its first release with a self-titled 5 song EP. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, these two have over 20 years of production experience between them with many talented artists including 2Mex, Awol One, Brevi, and Sinah, and are very active in the LA music scene as resident DJs at Electronic Sound Spectrum, playing at many clubs and parties including: Exchange LA, Roxy, Moon Block Party and Burning Man, and weekly college/community radio on KUCI 88.9 FM (Telesthesia: Sound System Circuitry).
