Hailing from Iasi, second city of Romania, Andrew Red Hand, named by Aaron-Carl “the Romanian Underground Resistance himself,” is the Romanian Detroit electro / techno pioneer. He has released music on no more than six iconic labels from Detroit so far, including Matrix, Twilight 76, Databasss, Cratesavers International, Detroit Techno, 6ONE6 and Belgium’s Melodymathics. Andrew Red Hand has done mixes for Underground Resistance – Radio UR 1, 2, 3, Detroit Techno Militia – The Grid, Bass Agenda (& interview) and TechnoBass.net (feature).
The Igloo Magazine Mix is a smooth electro journey, starting with the calmness of Anthiliawaters, going through the sound of Drexciya, Dopplereffekt, Model 500 etc. As well as Andrew Red Hand’s “From Ecstasy To Agony,” part of his latest EP Life-Changing Experiences (2014), released on Sean Deason’s legendary Matrix Records, Detroit, and it finishes with some hypnotic classic acid of Underground Resistance.
