A relevant example of a contemporary electropop combination where our favorite synth machines meet minimalist rockin elements, guitar distortion and sweet pop singing. Somewhere between A Place to Bury Strangers, Depeche Mode and Cold Cave, just to name a few.
This new EP is brought to light by the avid and passionate producer Oleg Galay and his electropop / post-punk-oriented label Other Voices. Delivered in digital formats, this three-track effort is the first officially released work of the Tel Aviv based trio Bill & Murray since the 2012 single New Kind of High. The project first made a handful of live performances, in various occasions, during festivals around Europe and North America. In this nice EP the project delivers an intriguing medley of things which covers a wide range of influences, moods and emotional atmospheres, from disco-trance or clubbing electronic assaults to shoegazing motorik post-rock, and synth-pop compositional standards. Pop tendencies, punchy grooves and vocals harmonize the ensemble in a tasty way.
