Cielo Stellato expands and morphs with a floating shift from mystical abstraction to digital solemnity, capturing the essence of sonic energy and universal wisdom—taking listeners on an exciting new venture into the realms of sound and multidimensional entities.

Sounding is the ambient/experimental-electronic project by Fabio La Vecchia, an Italian composer who crafts immersive soundscapes designed for deep listening and reflection. Fabio‘s fascination with the haunting atmospheres in David Lynch films—especially Angelo Badalamenti’s scores—has partially shaped his musical language. He began on keyboards in rock bands, later drawing inspiration from artists such as Mogwai, Air, Pink Floyd, and the minimalist work of Mark Nelson (Pan American), among many others.

Cielo Stellato (Starry Sky) is a mesmerizing ambient journey through lush soundscapes, cinematic textures, and experimental atmospheres. Released under EQ (a sub-label of EC Underground), the album flows like an evening under the stars—starting gently with “Dawn,” moving through weather and nature motifs, and closing on the expansive title track.

Expect warm synth pads, drifting melodic layers, and experimental textures—ideal for focused listening, meditation, night-time reflections, cinematic background music, art installations, or video. The title track spans approximately 12:12 minutes, while the album’s tracks range from around four to thirteen minutes each.

The album expands and morphs with a floating shift from mystical abstraction to digital solemnity, capturing the essence of sonic energy and universal wisdom—taking listeners on an exciting new venture into the realms of sound and multidimensional entities.

Composed, produced, and mixed by Sounding, with mastering by Fotis Kyriazidis, who adds depth and dimension to the sonic landscape.
