There is no need to introduce the enigmatic Legiac team of Roel Funcken and Cor Bolten; their approach to seamlessly blending melodic and alien textures with glitchy acid electro and broken beats is always a step ahead. While “Stark2” and “Stark3” use darker explosive breaks to convey their message, “Stark1″‘s expressive braindance and harder edges are just as perplexing; flowing with a stream of smoldering ambient undercurrents. “Stark5” delves into the abyss with blistering blips, bleeps, and bass with a captivating blend of sci-fi and robotic machine funk to keep us propelled as the jungle’n breaks infusion of “Stark6” collides and closes the proceedings.
