A lost soundtrack to emotively charged ambient emulsions
A lost soundtrack to emotively charged ambient emulsions, Cyberian (aka Stefan Bachvarov) reveals Dark Orphism peppered with echoed beat patches and dystopian sound worlds leading us down a treacherous path that doesn’t let up. Not entirely devoid of lighter sparks (ref. “Shades of Grey”), Cyberian exhibits restraint on these ever-morphing atmospheric pieces, slowly crunching fractured and textured beatwork along the way. In other spaces, tracks like “Poisoned” and “Serenity” devolve into sporadic glitch-infused exploration—ripped apart by analog stretched fissures. As Dark Orphism dives into moody soundscapes, tracks like “Prince of the Abyss” deliver ultra-wide dub echoes and sliced drums through industrial wastelands only further reinforcing its noise-laden sonic statement.
