Access To Arasaka :: Geosynchron (Tympanik Audio)

Whether or not Access To Arasaka is trying to create soundtracks for extraterrestrial cafes, he’s certainly able to attract the attention of (us) earthlings by continually baffling the ears with high-definition audio sculpting.

Access To Arasaka

Geosynchron - Access to Arasaka Sometimes it’s all about finding beauty buried in chaos which is precisely what Access To Arasaka (aka New York-based Rob Lioy) does on his third consecutive album for Tympanik Audio. As evidenced in his previous releases, there seems to be no signs of slowing down for this prolific musician. Almost as if propelled by technologically advanced musical inspiration, Geosynchron accelerates and decelerates via manipulated digital clutter and pensive melodic strands. Shards of crumpled (ambient) noise breaks down into bits and bytes and yet what remains is a ()void of deconstructed rhythmic patterns. These vast spaces, often filled with meticulously crafted electronics, may come across as emotionally depleted to the untrained ear. Upon closer inspection, layer after layer of cerebral orchestration floats through minute crevasses and eventually evaporates. While we could continue to expand on these thirteen sonic orbits, each listener will likely derive Geosynchron as a flexible environment that is persistent and powerful. Whether or not Access To Arasaka is trying to create soundtracks for extraterrestrial cafes, he’s certainly able to attract the attention of (us) earthlings by continually baffling the ears with high-definition audio sculpting.
