Mind Maps 7 stands as another richly rewarding chapter in an extraordinary body of electronic music—one that continues to push gently at the boundaries of ambient, downtempo and sample-based composition without ever losing its sense of warmth or wonder. Long may these maps continue to unfold, pointing listeners towards the kind of electronic music that still feels capable of surprising, transporting and quietly reshaping the landscape around it.
Taken as a whole, Full Spectrum 3 reinforces a broader point about contemporary electronic music. It isn’t stagnant, nor is it repeating itself. What it offers instead is a constantly expanding field of practice—one that often exists outside obvious distribution channels, away from mainstream radio, commercial television, or algorithm-led discovery feeds.
More than a sampler, Pulse State: SAMPLER 1 is a living transmission—an immersive, precision-curated surge of IDM and off-axis electronics where past and future signals collide, experimental sound mutates in real time, and meticulously engineered worlds unfold in motion.
Here, time blurs. Languid pulses, dusky synth-lines, erratic vocal fragments, and serpentine grooves conjure a place half-remembered—at once familiar and untethered, a kind of sonic déjà vu.

Speaking of cults, it’s not wrong to say there’s always been one around a certain Scottish duo, and if you’ve been missing them then I’m pretty sure this lot may have done away with them, drunk their blood and benefitted from the proceedings.
