As 2026 begins, we return to our now six-year ritual at Igloo—bending time slightly to celebrate the finest albums of the past year, from 2025 standouts on labels like Warp Records and Clone to reissues and timeless cuts by Aphex Twin and The Sabres of Paradise, all fueling our tradition with renewed magic and momentum.
Every day is Halloween for Dressel Amorosi, the Italian duo who carve their stories in synthesizers and basslines as if scoring a never-ending slasher film. Now they return from the shadows, sharpening their sonic blades for House of the Dolls, a chilling sequel to their cult 2018 soundtrack Deathmetha.
Twenty five tracks of 2024; math was never a strong point, more artsy here. Unceremoniously punctuated by inane chat and blurry recollections, this is a super special collection and one to warm the heart during our new age of tariffs and tone deaf tantrums.
2024 is well underway. Nevertheless, We Forfeit returns to one of their many, many traditions; their favorite records of 2023!
