Malignant Records are back with monthly releases of subterranean, blasting and blackened experimental music. I will focus on the split album by two very obscure and underground projects Wet Nurse & Ten Thousand Miles Of Arteries.
First half of Split is created by We Nurse. This project offers to the listener a maelstrom of extremely noisy, explosive, venomous, abrasive and harsh electronic patterns made of various sound manipulations and vocal screams. A very decaying, punchy and nihilist approach prevails along the tracks. Sonic and apocalyptical post-modern electronics which are reminiscence of the neurotic obsessional extravagance and assaultive analog rituals of Whitenoise.Pure noisy and devastating industrial ambiences.
The music of Ten Thousand Miles Of Arteries follows a similar sound direction with discordant drones, grimy and chaotic textures but the general tendency delivers a more desolate, painful and gloomy atmosphere which resonates as a soundtrack to a vanished, pestilent, abject and rotted to the core society which manifests its last sighs, living the final moments of its spiritual misery.
