Tsrono :: Vale (3OP)

Vale showcases eight genuine sceneries that drift and break apart.

Brittle sound-escapes

Soundscapes simmer among calm and relaxed sputtering glitches as synth-swells maneuver through atmospheric threads looping over each other. Tsrono’s Vale showcases eight genuine sceneries that drift and break apart. “Iyrin” transports the listener through acidic streams, light drones, and percussive bits that provide a calm and subtle transmission. “Iyrin Pure” dissolves its counterpart, etching atmospheric motifs (sans beatwork) and cascades through tranquil realms alongside “Riven” that glides into parallel outer spaces.

And yet within the vast and expansive moods Vale is able to deliver upon, pieces like “Crysolite” bend light in a different direction; brisk and broken tapping, percussion and translucent ambient veils fall apart in an avalanche of electronic bliss. Tsrono’s adherence to brittle sound-escapes is baffling, and as these dozen tracks paint mysteries beyond comprehension, “Ganeden” lifts the spirit of ambient glitch to a whole other dimension; one that results in a baffling collision between eroded melodies and minuscule rhythms ricocheting from glass walls. One could compare Tsrono’s captivating creations to that of exm—listen to “Eksiyi” as a prime example—where time becomes a loop, and hypnotic bubbles burst. Vale, as a result, is nothing short of intoxicating. Recommended for fans of Loess, Deru, and exm.
